RE: Self-Study Report
For the past year we have been engaged in the Self-Study process required by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education as part of the re-accreditation process. The Steering Committee and working groups have worked diligently to produce a draft report that is subject to review and comment by the entire campus community during the next month. I believe that the draft they have produced is a very substantial effort to address the full range of achievements and challenges that are integral to the National Labor College.
You may view the report in pdf format with the link below.
Middle States Self-Study Committee Report
You will need the Adobe Reader to view the form in pdf format. If you do not have the free Adobe Reader, it is available for download at the Adobe web site.
We are providing an opportunity for faculty, students, staff and all others who are interested to review the document and provide comments that may be incorporated into the final report. Your comments and insights on the draft report would be very useful to the Steering Committee members as they prepare the final report for publication. For that reason all comments must be received prior to May 1.
Please take this opportunity to read the draft and share your reaction to the report. Please send your comments to Jim Gentile, jgentile@nlc.edu or Jennifer Harrison, jharrison@nlc.edu, National Labor College, 10000 New Hampshire Ave., Silver Spring, MD, 20903.
