The George Meany Memorial Archives is able to provide limited assistance to people desiring information about labor history and related topics. Many questions may be answered by referring to a number of standard reference works, most of which are available through university libraries or local library systems. Union periodicals and regional archival materials provide the best source of information for genealogical research.
