National Labor College is now accredited to offer an Associate of Arts (AA) degree. Courses in the fully online program will be offered for the first time in the fall semester that begins on September 3. Introductory courses — from writing to accounting to history and more — will be offered during each of our three annual semesters, which start in September, January, and May.
NLC’s Associate of Arts degree is designed to provide students with the foundation to succeed in the College’s bachelor degree programs or at any other four-year university. Students will be required to complete a total of 60 credits (courses are 3 credits each). Students may earn credit through a combination of transfer credits from accredited colleges or universities, apprenticeships, CLEP testing, military credits, union training, and credit for lifelong learning experience through NLC’s Prior Learning Assessment program.
Carol Rodgers, who spearheaded the Admissions Department at National Labor College for many years, is the new Director of Admissions for the AA program. Carol’s phone is always ringing and more than 50 students have already enrolled.
