Introduction

Overview

This course introduces students to basic features of Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Internet Explorer. 

Windows Features Identify Desktop icons and tools Minimize, restore and resize windows Open and Save documents Navigate folders with the My Computer tool Word Features Format text Cut or Copy, then Paste Create bullet points, Undo a mistake Insert a Page Break Insert Headers and Footers Perform Spell Check Browsing the Internet Entering a URL in the Address Bar Navigating links on Web Pages Downloading a file from the Internet Send an Attachment in an E-mail
