Overview

Data is stored in files on the computer.  Files are stored in folders or directories.  Each folder may also contain subfolders.  Windows Explorer and My Computer are tools to navigate folders on the computer.  When saving a document, you specify the location of the folder where the file will be saved.

Tutorial

This tutorial demonstrates how to open My Documents.  Folders and files are identified within My Documents.  A file is opened from the My Documents folder by double-clicking on the file name.
