Lesson 2: Working with Windows

Overview

Applications in Windows XP open in 'windows'.  You may open more that one application at a time, switching back and forth between the window of each application.  On the title bar of each window are minimize, restore and close buttons.  You may also use the mouse to resize and move windows.

Tutorial

This tutorial demonstrates opening Word and identifies the title bar, menu bar and toolbar. It demonstrates minimizing an application to the taskbar and restoring it.  It also demonstrates resizing windows.
