UPDATE:  The votes are in!

Mary McNulty of Roseville, California, has been elected by her fellow graduates to speak at NLC’s Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, June 22.

Mary, a member of the California Teachers Association, earned her BA in Labor Studies.

Congratulations to Mary and to all the members of National Labor College’s Class of 2013!

Graduates, commencement is just four weeks away!

It’s time to select your class speaker. Now is your opportunity to ask them questions.

From today until May 31, you are welcome to ask the nominees questions in the comments section of the blog post. Class speaker nominees are welcomed to answer back in the same comments section.

Graduates have until June 4  to email Janine Curtis with their vote. The class speaker will be announced on June 5, giving the speaker plenty of time to prepare a speech.
