Opportunities for Graduate Studies

Earning a bachelor’s degree often fuels a desire for more knowledge and academic achievement. George Mason University’s Masters of Science in Organization Development and Knowledge Management. George Mason University offers a Master's program in Organization Development & Knowledge Management that is geared toward NLC alumni and union members. The program is taught on the NLC campus and students pay in-state tuition to GMU. Please note, however, that this is not a National Labor College program.

GMU is recruiting a new Labor cohort to begin the program in November 2010. The ODKM program is designed for NLC grads and union members who are interested in becoming effective agents of change within their unions, communities, and organizations. The program teaches students to more clearly understand what is happening within organizations, to address issues and challenges relevant to labor representatives, and to gain new leadership skills.

Please note that this is a special cohort only for those affiliated with a union and participating at the National Labor College (All others should apply to the regular ODKM cohort program offered at the George Mason School of Public Policy Arlington Campus).
