It’s only Wednesday, but it’s already been a packed week here at NLC. Students attending one of three Bonnie Ladin Union Skills Classes have been immersed in contracts, arbitrations or union staff 101 trainings.

Between classes, students had the opportunity to connect with union activists from across the country in other courses. Others caught up on assignments while enjoying the summer-like weather we’ve been having in the DC area.

If you need a solidarity boost, consider attending a Bonnie Ladin Union Skills course in May or June:

May 2012
6-11  Negotiating Contracts with State and Local Governments  (only 2 spots remain)
6-11  Strategic Grievance Handling (only 3 spots remain)

June 2012
17-22 Arbitration Preparation and Presentation Level I

All classes take place at the National Labor College in Silver Spring, MD.
