“What can Labor do for itself? Labor can organize, it can unify; it can consolidate its forces. This is done, it can demand and command.” – Eugene Debs, 1949
Congrats to the newest graduates of Organizing I! Thank you for your commitment to your unions.
NLC’s own Christopher Levy (far left) attended the course, which is part of the Bonnie Ladin Union Skills and Training Program. Christopher is a shop steward for the awesome Office and Professional Employees International Union members on staff here at National Labor College. Christopher’s classmates included local reps from AFSCME, IATSE, and the National Trades Union Congress of Singapore.
Upcoming classes include those aimed at both new union staff and seasoned union leaders looking to expand their expertise as a secretary-treasurer, contract negotiator or arbitrator.
