
Jennifer teaches courses in composition and literature and directs the prior learning assessment program, NLC student learning assessment, and the Online Writing Lab. Her doctoral degree is in language, literacy, and culture, an interdisciplinary degree that integrates the humanities and social sciences from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. She holds an MA in English Language and Literature from the University of Maryland College Park and a BA in English from Washington College. Harrison has taught at Montgomery College and Anne Arundel Community College; before becoming a faculty member, she directed marketing, corporate relations, and publication development in higher education association publishing.
