Following a one-month strike in NOvember of 1999, 200 Eurofresh tomato workers near Tucson, in July of 2000, celebrate becoming the first farm workers in Arizona to be represented by a union - UFCW Local 99. The strike was sparked by a new company wage policy that would have doubled their work for $1 more an hour.
