Roofers enter the main showroom, which was filled with roofers and their supporters for about 1 1/2 hours, until the manager showed up and met with the roofers. The next day the roofers were reinstated to their jobs. The action was sponsored by the local Jobs with Justice. Other union activists joined them, including the teachers and students from the Strategic Campaigns course of the Southwest Organizing School taught that week in Tucson by Andy Banks from the George Meany Center.
